D-Day + 219: Arrived early..
... at HDB today. Registered and waited patiently for our number to be called. Keeps on flipping through the documents to confirm that I have brought everything required. The staff serving us is an interesting auntie. She talks very sloowwww. Though my guess is that she wants to make sure we catch everything she says, but I still find her interesting and a joy to listen too. Dooon't yooouuu agreeee?

D-Day + 84: Went to HDB today...
... for our unit selection. We reached there half an hour earlier to collect our Queue number. We sat there and monitor the sales status, hoping that the unit we want will not be chosen by others. We initially chose the unit after studying the floor plan and layout and later realise that the number coincides with the date we got together. But after much studying, we chose another unit as our first choice as it seems it's the only unit with a possible purchase of the corridor recess area. The fort was held tight but unfortunately, we loses it at the last minute. It got chosen by someone 2 to 3 queue number in front of us. Well, everything happens for a reason. Maybe we are destined to get our initial choice. So we hope and pray that it does not get chosen by Mr and Mrs Q-80. It was a gruelling wait and at last, our number flashes on the LED board. Luckily, all is not lost. We got it!
