D-Day + 1139 : A visit to the almost completed estate.

Finally the fences are down and residents can officially visit their flats without the needs to go stealth.

Though keys are still in the grasp of HDB, we couldn't suppress the urge to see how our main gate looks like.

Being able to touch it is a fringe benefit.

Introduction to Jade Spring

Jade Spring @ Yishun is a BTO project launched by HDB in December 2007.
It comprises 4 apartment blocks of 48 3-rooms and 336 4-rooms units. Designed for contemporary living, the architecture projects a minimal yet immaculate look. All units come with full height windows in the living/dining area and ¾ height windows in the bedrooms to soak in the surrounding greenery. Selected units facing the park are provided with balconies for greater enjoyment of the lush green views. 4-room units at the top 2 storeys of each block are endowed with planter boxes, perfect for those with green fingers.

Well situated in the vibrancy of Yishun Town, an established estate housing a dazzling mix of shopping, dining, recreation and education options and yet nestled snugly beside Yishun Park's 13-hectare lush greeneries. It is the perfect retreat after a hectic day at work.
Although it is away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre, Jade Spring is still well-connected to the city by major roads, expressways and public transports.

With a series of exciting new developments like the bazaar place, Community Library, integrated shopping complex and bus interchange, make-over Yishun pond, promenade along Lower Seletar Reservoir, etc, Yishun will be abuzz with non-stop actions and activities.
